Anna is an experienced international learning and development and HR specialist. She has over 10 years in house and consultancy based experience in designing, managing and facilitating learning programmes as well as HR Operations and Strategic development within global organisations in the UK and internationally.
Anna has worked in a senior HR position for the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance, part of the Aga Khan Development Network based in Geneva, Switzerland (www.akdn.org). She has been instrumental in designing a suite of HR best practice and senior management leadership initiatives, working closely with senior stakeholders and field based teams for roll out over 13 countries.
Previously, Anna worked for WS Atkins plc. (www.atkinsglobal.com) within their Middle East and India business as the HR Learning and Development Manager based in the Gulf. Anna designed and launched the learning and development function to over 2500 staff in the region made up of 56 different nationalities. Working closely with the MD and Executive team she designed and developed large-scale talent management and HR initiatives, including a further learning and management programme for engineers, which was awarded formal accreditation from the UK professional engineering institutions and launched the Graduate Recruitment Strategy.
Prior to this, Anna worked for Jones Lang LaSalle (www.jll.com) as an Associate Director based in London, where she designed and led the implementation of a series of talent management and HR solutions across UK and European portfolios. She set up the learning function for a specific division of JLL, and designed and managed the rollout of a significant change management programme across the EMEA portfolio of a key corporate account. She also successfully designed a ‘back to basics’ modular programme for managers, which achieved external accreditation.
Anna has also worked in the hospitality industry as a Brand Development Training Manager where she successfully designed and rolled out a Customer Service training programme across the UK and Asia Pacific.
Anna started her career with NatWest Bank plc. as part of their Management Development programme and worked within the HR and Training sector.
Anna is CIPD qualified and is also an accredited Kaizan and Situational Leadership facilitator.
