Mary has eight years experience in the micro-finance industry with Opportunity International working on Leadership and Management Development, audit review of MFI Operations as part of the Opportunity International Standards and Accreditation team, HR practice, Performance Management and training and development of senior and middle management in MFIs across Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Prior to this, Mary spent twenty five years in Barclays Bank in credit underwriting, operations, project management and training. She is a strategic thinker, change agent and people developer, experienced in focussing on customer service, cost management and the development of a performance-orientated culture. A persuasive communicator at all levels, Mary is logical, decisive, and flexible with high standards of personal integrity.

Mary holds and M.A. in Management Learning from Lancaster University, is Licensed (BETA) Business Excellence Through Action Adviser, and an accredited UK Business Excellence Assessor.
