An experienced coach, with a strong financial sector background, Shefali Salwan is an Associate Consultant with Creative Metier.

She is a Senior Human Resources Professional with 15 years experience in Talent Management, Business partnering and “expertise” roles in Global Organisations, with key strengths in coaching for the development of women leaders, leadership assessment, and change management.

Shefali worked in senior leadership positions in the banking sector in India before moving to Europe in 2004. She was the Global Lead for Diversity and Inclusion from 2005 till early 2008 and worked very closely with the CEO and CHRO of Unilever.

Most recently she has delivered a consultancy assignment for Barclaycard spearheading Talent Management and Performance Management on a global basis. Currently she is engaged in executive coaching of senior executives in the UK and in Singapore.

Before her experience in Unilever she worked in ANZ Grindlays Bank, Mumbai, India as Head of Resourcing & HR Business Partner for ANZ Funds Management; centrally responsible for all the resourcing needs of the businesses / units of the bank for all management levels.
She also set up the HRD function at SBI Capital Markets Limited, including a new performance management and reward system. Shefali has also carried out assignments on behalf of HSBC in India.

Her consulting experience in India includes assignments across a wide range of industries from Automobile majors (Tata Motors), FMCG (Unilever), Search firms as well as Oil, Textiles and Logistics majors. The focus areas were Leadership development and assessments. Her coaching engagements in India have also been varied and rich including the CEO of India's largest Recruitment company, the first woman HR head of one of India's top 10 companies and the entire Management boards of an MNC Oil company and India's largest logistics concerns.

Shefali has an Executive Coaching Certificate from the Academy of Executive Coaching; an MBA in HR from XLRI Business School, Jamshedpur; a BA Hons in Psychology from Delhi University; is accredited in Saville and Holdsworth Level A and Level B; is a Thomas Profiling System Assessor; is an accredited interviewer with Development Dimensions Institute (DDI, Pennsylvania) on “Targeted Selection” and is currently a certified practitioner  in NLP.
