Client: Church of England Diocese – Diocesan Training Manager
Situation:
A Church Diocese commissioned Creative Metier to work with clergy and curates who have found themselves at difficult points of transition. Some of the situations had been unresolved for a considerable length of time. Creative Metier provided coaching to resolve personal and organisational issues and to help participants to discern the next steps in their career and ministry. Based on the success of this work Creative Metier were also invited to run a workshop programme “What Next, Where Next?” for clergy and curates making decisions about their next appointment.
Results:
All participants in the programme made significant career moves within the few months following the Programme. Every situation has had a successful outcome.
It was excellent in a number of ways
It changed my focus from the ‘past and present’ to the ‘future’
It really opened up my thinking and broadened my horizons
It ‘lifted my head’.....I regained my optimism. It has been an energizing experience
“It was powerful to see how the programme benefitted our talented women managers. The Programme worked so well as it helped our managers plan their career in the context of the bigger picture of life” Shefali Salwan, ex Lead, Global Diversity and Inclusion, of the commissioning organisation
