Interactive exercises to support reflective learning, planning and decision making

Online Resources

The team brings together, Andy Rankin, who worked on the development of Marconi Global Learning’s online delivery; Glynis Rankin, who designed and oversaw delivery of a capacity building programme for the major US microfinance charity Opportunity International in 53 countries.

Glynis and Andy Rankin at Creative Metier have pioneered the innovative online resources v-interactive® and v-interactive®100. Research demonstrates that coaching clients often see the coaching session as the main point of intervention, doing little work in between meetings, often thinking about the issue in hand immediately before they return to see their coach again. Creative Metier takes a different approach. At the core of Vivocco™100 and Vivocco™Career are a set of engaging online and hard copy resources designed to help clients continue to think through the issues they are addressing between sessions. This maximises the benefit of the coaching sessions themselves, reducing the amount of time required for coaching and produces outstanding results.

The web based software guides users through a detailed programme of interactive exercises to support reflective learning, planning and decision making. This has enabled Creative Metier to develop Remote International Coaching Delivery (RICD) which supports the design and delivery of global programmes with managers participating from anywhere in the world. Coaches work remotely whilst looking at the same screens as the client to share the work the client has completed on their online learning accounts.  Coachees using this service have a one year personal license to one of the unique online development programmes backed up by an email and telephone “Navigator” support service. Working online introduces a new dimension to the coaching process; a different type of conversation, as users can experiment with new ideas, changing and revising them as many times as they want until they are fully satisfied with the results. Individuals lead the coaching conversation and take responsibility for their progress. Evaluations demonstrate that this is as effective as face to face interventions. The software is accessible wherever there is online access and a broadband connection. The users work is stored in a secure, private personal account and can be accessed at any time.

RICD Programme development and delivery

Programme delivery may take many forms and combinations, depending on the needs, locations and budgets of our clients. Creative Metier seeks to transfer ownership of our programmes into the organisations that we work with. We can train your staff to deliver many of our programmes, reducing cost, and enhancing organisational capability. Our resources for delivery go beyond those of our own team, to include other specialist talent from our outsource partners in database and design. Our learning initiatives can also benefit from our “Navigator Service” – an email and telephone support service developed initially to support our online learning programmes.

Creative Metier’s dynamic team are at the forefront of learning design, bringing expertise ranging from the development and delivery of Master’s level programmes to bespoke workshop interventions, delivered across organisational and international boundaries.
