Creative Metier is delighted to announce their partnership with Summit Development Group, to provide Strategic HR and Organisational Design support for its financial institutions (FI’s) across Africa which serve the “Missing-Middle”.

Summit Development Group ("SDG") was established in 2008 and looks to invest equity and take significant stakes in Tier-2 banks and financial institutions across sub-Saharan Africa. With traditional banks servicing the multinationals, large corporations and salaried / high net worth consumers and microfinance institutions (MFIs) servicing the poorest of the poor, there is a gap in providing financial services to unbanked and under-banked individuals and SMEs that fall between them – the Missing Middle. Ultimately SDG aims to aggregate their investments into a pan-African network of leading FIs that focus specifically on the Missing Middle.

Creative Metier is delighted to be supporting the SDG team to build institutions with strong leadership and governance, to deliver profitable and efficient operations that service the Missing Middle. The aim of the SDG/Creative Metier partnership is to develop a distinctive organisational culture within and across SDG institutions based on strong HR systems that support the fulfilment of potential for all staff, a strong succession pipeline, the delivery of exemplary performance, and development of a performance culture.

Creative Metier has extensive experience working to support Strategy HR Change in NGOs globally, and has pioneered the use of Remote International Coaching Delivery (RICD) to support their innovative Senior Leadership and Management development Programmes. The Company has worked over many years in organisational development in the profit and not for profit sectors, and has developed a deep understanding of the leadership challenges and structural changes that facilitate organisational growth and expansion.
