We are hiring a Leadership Programme Coordinator to work in our Inspiring Leaders impact area where we work with socially committed leaders to deliver ambitious change in the most challenging contexts. Our coaching and leadership programmes foster resilient, inclusive leaders who fulfil their own potential and inspire others to fulfil theirs.

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised Leadership Programme Coordinator with an interest in coaching and leadership development, to support our brilliant team to deliver a high profile and complex leadership development programme. This highly bespoke programme seeks to build the leadership skills of a small team of Ethiopian based leaders seeking to transform the agricultural system for their country. The Programme runs for 12-18 months and consists of a blended curriculum of leadership coaching, training and consulting. You will report to the Programme Director.

You will:

  • Manage the project plan, coordinate programme activities and track deliverables
  • Proactively liaise with programme participants and their support teams to schedule programme activities
  • Lead the planning and logistics for two in person training events to be held in Kenya or elsewhere in East Africa
  • Provide support to the curriculum development lead to compile and format programme materials
  • Support the coaching team to comply with time recording, invoicing and IT requirements
  • Administer monitoring and evaluation activities under the direction of the Programme Director
  • Work with our brand lead to ensure brand alignment across the programme and all communications
  • Manage the expense budget and ensure compliance with financial and reporting requirements
  • Act as a hub for all things relating to the programme
  • Build strong working relationships with the programme delivery team
  • Build your knowledge of the work within the Inspiring Leaders impact area and more broadly across Creative Metier
  • Contribute to review processes and feedback to the Programme Director in a timely manner

You will be:

  • Able to work virtually with stakeholders in complex contexts and cross-cultures; you will be culturally sensitive and appropriate
  • Experienced in working across teams in different time zones and able to schedule meetings appropriately
  • Proactive and enthusiastic
  • Highly organised and systematic with supreme attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with high level delegates in an international context
  • Peaceful in the face of change, with a positive attitude to resolve challenges
  • Interested in coaching and leadership development and in building your understanding of the field
  • Absolutely committed to the success of our clients; and have a ‘client first’ approach. There is no room at Creative Metier for ego
  • Discrete and absolutely committed to confidentiality

Qualifications and experience:

  • Excellent written and spoken business English
  • Experience and evidence of managing complex projects in a relevant context e.g. leadership development, social impact
  • Fluency in virtual engagement tools e.g. Zoom, Miro, Dovico and able to quickly learn new tools when required
  • Fluency with office tools (Excel, PPT, Word)
  • Bachelor’s degree

Technical requirements:

  • You must have access to reliable and good quality internet connection
  • This is a home based position, no office will be provided
  • You will be based in East Africa

This is a fixed term 12 month consultancy contract with option to extend to 18 months. Part-time and flexible working requests will be considered. This is not an employment contract.
