Fostering Entrepreneurial Resilience and Securing Impact Through a Coaching Approach to Enterprise Support

At the 2022 ANDE Conference, Creative Metier’s Head of Consulting and Partnerships, Jessica Stewart curated a panel discussion exploring and gaining new perspectives on the contribution that coaching, and a coaching style of engagement, makes to entrepreneurial resilience. Including:

  • How coaching builds sustainable and resilient entrepreneurial support organisations
  • If funders want to see resilience across the entrepreneurial ecosystem they need to invest in entrepreneurial support organisations so they can provide sustainable and effective services to entrepreneurs

Jessica was joined by Nicholas Colloff, Executive Director Argidius Foundation, Alexandra Salas, CEO Bpeace and Chris Odongo, CEO Wylde International who shared their own insights on how coaching skills and a coaching style benefit entrepreneurs. Alexandra Salas, CEO Bpeace

Alexandra leads Bpeace’s fast growing global impact. She began her career in private equity and honed her international experience while working in Argentina and Brazil. Chris Odongo, CEO Wylde International

Chris Odongo has over 22 years experience working with SMEs across Africa. He is creative and practical in his approach with skills in business coaching, strategy development, facilitation, leadership and personal development. At Wylde International, he leads a team of brilliant consultants and associates to deliver an inspirational growth programme for entrepreneurs that to date has transformed more than 500 businesses.

Nicholas Colloff OBE, Executive Director Argidius Foundation

Nicholas Colloff OBE has directed the Argidius Foundation since January 2014. He is a senior executive with experience as a founder, a funder and a senior manager. Prior to Argidius he was Director of Strategy and Innovation at Oxfam GB and Regional Director of the global microfinance network Opportunity International in Eastern Europe.
